About our staff:
Dr. Betsy Schusser was born in Virginia, and received her M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia in 1982. She also has a B.A. from Drew University with a major in Theatre and an M.A. from the University of Michigan, with a major in acting/directing. She performed with the Living Theatre for two years in Europe before returning to Virginia to attend medical school. After medical school, she completed a three-year family practice residency at Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia. Dr. Schusser is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and is currently an active Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. She has been practicing medicine on Maui since 1989 and performing Aesthetic Injections since 2010. Doug Schusser, Dr. Betsy's husband and Practice Manager is a graduate of SUNY, Oswego, NY. Cheryl Matthews works as Esthetician and Hydrafacial operator.
